Masayoshi Sukita's on-set photographs from the filming of Jim Jarmusch's Mystery Train in Memphis during the summer of 1988. Described by Jarmusch himself as a family album, Sukita's images match the unforgettable lighting and cinematography of Robby Muller. The film won Best Artistic Achievement at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival and featured Steve Buscemi, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Joe Strummer, and Youki Kudoh. Sukita is renowned for his collaborations with David Bowie, Marc Bolan, and Iggy Pop. This Japanese publication is exceptionally scarce on the secondary market, with multiple dealers noting years between finding copies.
