About

Landslide Books & Objects is a specialist art bookshop, publisher and curatorial platform based in Sydney, Australia.

We source a constantly changing selection of rare, out-of-print and new books, artist editions, printed ephemera and objects from Australia and abroad. Alongside the bookshop, we publish artists' books and editions, and occasionally present exhibitions, temporary libraries and collaborative projects.

Landslide takes its name from a little-known publication produced in Los Angeles during the late 1960s, which featured fictional interviews with contemporary artists created by Bas Jan Ader and William Leavitt. Equal parts publication and conceptual artwork, it continues to inform our interest in books as sites for experimentation, conversation and exchange.

Landslide is currently operating online while we prepare our next space in Sydney.

Over the coming months we'll continue publishing books, sourcing new acquisitions and presenting projects in Australia and abroad.

If you're searching for a particular title, building a collection, or interested in our publishing programme, we'd love to hear from you.
