Produced from a survey exhibition held at the Robert Miller Gallery in 1991, this book provides full colour and full bleed images of a large selection of Mapplethorpe’s rarely seen work from the period 1970 - 1974. The work includes collages and assemblages using picture frames, men’s clothing, and found images of pornography and ephemera.
