Pubblicità in Italia 1969–1970 is an annual survey of Italian advertising, graphic design and visual communication published by L’Ufficio Moderno in Milan. This volume brings together hundreds of examples of Italian commercial graphics from the late 1960s, including advertising campaigns, posters, packaging, trademarks, catalogues, publications and other forms of printed ephemera.

The book is particularly interesting as a document of Italian graphic culture at the end of the 1960s, when advertising increasingly drew on contemporary photography, typography, illustration and experimental approaches to image-making. The selection ranges from commercial campaigns and product packaging to publishing, corporate identity and promotional material, giving a broad picture of the visual language of the period.

Designed as both a reference work and a visual survey, the publication is packed with examples of period graphic design, many reproduced in colour. The advertisements and printed material offer an unusually direct record of the commercial and aesthetic culture of postwar Italy, with contributions spanning advertising agencies, designers, photographers and manufacturers.

The volume is particularly notable for its striking Franco Grignani cover design and its extensive documentation of Italian advertising and graphic design at the transition into the 1970s.
