Condition: Very good overall condition. Complete with both the original Photo CD and Music CD. Plastic case shows light shelf wear and minor surface marks consistent with age. Booklet has light toning to the first and final pages, with a few small spots of foxing visible to the interior title and credits pages. Contents are otherwise clean, bright and tightly bound. CDs appear clean and well preserved.

Published at the height of Hiromix's rise, Oh My Lover is less a photobook than a multimedia self-portrait. Issued in an oversized plastic case, it combines a full-colour booklet with two original CDs: a Kodak Photo CD containing additional images, and a music CD produced by Hiromix herself.

Part diary, part pop object, the publication captures the energy that made Hiromix one of the defining photographers of 1990s Japan. Blurred snapshots, bedrooms, friends, music, junk food and teenage romance unfold alongside graphic design that borrows as much from CD packaging and fashion magazines as it does from photobook publishing.

Produced before digital cameras and social media transformed personal image-making, Oh My Lover feels surprisingly contemporary. Equal parts artist's book, music release and time capsule, it remains one of Hiromix's most inventive and sought-after early publications.
