OZ Magazine was one of Australia's most influential underground publications. Founded in Sydney in 1963 by Richard Neville, Richard Walsh and Martin Sharp, the magazine combined radical politics, satire, graphic experimentation and contemporary art to challenge the cultural conservatism of the time. Its editors were famously prosecuted for obscenity in Australia before relocating to London, where Oz became one of the defining publications of the international counterculture movement.

Each issue captures a pivotal moment in the evolution of underground publishing and features contributions from artists, writers and designers including Martin Sharp, Gary Shead and many others.
