La Tranchée Racine #37  2021
Graphic periodic, 47.5 x 66cm, 12 pages black and white newspaper
United Dead Artists

Condition: Very Good, shows minimal signs of wear.

'La Tranchée Racine' is United Dead Artists' graphic periodic, a publisher founded in 2010 by French drawer and artist Stéphane Blanquet, a prolific figure in the contemporary art scene since the end of the 1980s.

Gathering images, strips, photographs and texts selected by Stéphane Blanquet (who illustrates all the issues' front covers), 'La Tranchée Racine' reflects the publishing house's raw identity. Each weekly issue presents the works of more than 40 authors in a rough yet meticulous display. Special issues are either dedicated to one particular author or full-page publication.

'La Tranchée Racine' became weekly for 42 issues on the occasion of Stéphane Blanquet's exhibition at the Halle Saint Pierre, Paris, from September 2020 to January 2022: a crazy project that intends to constitute a vast panel of art brut, contemporary art and drawing at the rate of one issue per week for more than a year...

With Joël Hubaut, Jean-Sébastien Ruyer, Julia Soboleva, Mauro Bordin, Hélène Delmaire, Kosuke Ajiro, Marios von Kerpen, Vincent Bizien, Kinga Janiak, Mileta Mijatovic, Mateusz Sarzynski, Gilbert & George.
