'The Clip-On Method' is a two-volume artist book about the work of Cady Noland. At almost 600 pages, this publication combines exhibition documentation from 1984 onwards and essays that interrogate the core of Noland’s practice and engagement in art.
Book 1 includes documents, essays, scholarly texts and articles exploring capitalism, violence, racial discrimination in US universities, paired with documentation of various iconic works in their debut presentations.
Book 2 combines documentation with writings by the artist herself, often presented as facsimiles, revealing artistic process and the artworks it yields.
